These terms govern the use of the website of ALAAR — Associação Limiana dos Amigos dos Animais de Rua. By using the website, visitors undertake to use it lawfully and responsibly.

1. Purpose of the website

The website presents ALAAR's activities, animals available for adoption, ways to help and contact information, and provides forms relating to adoption, temporary fostering, volunteering, membership and other requests addressed to the association.

2. Animals and applications

Publishing an animal on the website does not guarantee adoption or create an automatic reservation. An application starts an assessment process by ALAAR. The association may request additional information and assess the suitability of the application taking into account the animal's welfare and needs.

3. Forms

Users must provide true, current and complete information. Submitting a form does not mean automatic acceptance of a request. Where a process includes an electronic declaration of truthfulness or commitment, the user must read it before confirming it.

4. Members

A request to become a member is subject to confirmation by ALAAR. The minimum annual membership fee shown on the website is €12. Submitting a request does not replace confirmation of membership by the association.

5. Donations

The support methods shown on the donations page are intended to contribute to ALAAR's activities. The website does not state or guarantee tax benefits, deductions or advantages associated with donations.

6. Content and availability

ALAAR aims to keep website information correct and up to date, but content may change as the circumstances of animals, contacts, campaigns or association activities evolve. Technical availability may be interrupted for maintenance or due to external causes.

7. Misuse

The website may not be used to submit unlawful content, attempt unauthorised access to the restricted area, interfere with the operation of the service or use forms for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
